Dave ~ You know when the BS comes, it comes in piles. I had some work, medical, and personal realted issues, which seemed to engulf my time and focus. It became harder and harder to make it down there until, me leaving out of the city became impossible.

I've been keeping up with the gym (via your texts and FaceBook/MySpace) and everything seems to be going great. I'm happy for you guys and those who are achieving thier goals are wicked. I get on the mat every now and again with a friend here in the city. His name is Scott Huston and he opened a gym called: "360 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu" not far from my house. I go up there a few times a week and roll with him and his guys.

Daniela is back working and she's an assistant to one of the county board supervisors. I have greater responsiblity at work and am in th process of trying to change jobs. The kids are fine. The three older kids (Nasir, Nile, and N'kya) recently (May 9th) got thier Yellow Belts and Naim gets a Gi today.

I was at the tattoo shop getting my GB Taz worked on and Lane (artist) asked did I regret getting my tattoo right before the bottom seemed to drop from under me. I replied, "Hell NO!" I don't regret it at all. I'll always have the tie with GB Wisconsin and love you guys. I just had to step away for a while to re-focus on what I wanted and what I was doing in life and Jits. No worries. Later

i know i should have chilled out for a week or so but it drives me crazy to just watch and not be able to train full speed. and honestly its not all that bad.

just got home from the hospital and have 2 broken ribs. they said 6 to 8 weeks and i laugh at them because i know ill be back tomorrow.

man i appreciate you guys putting up with my crazy antics. if youre ever near west bend hit me. i cant wait to see you guys again

they are hands down the best dogs in the world. ours had puppies last summer and it was so tough to gt rid of them. i wanted to keep all of the little guys
