About me:

Gypsy nomad soul searcher roaming the land and sea until the real me is revealed through exstacy. I'm a musician, writer, photographer, yogi, farmer, athlete, all-around spiritual being living the truth. I'm a sattvic vata, pisces. I am the ocean. I need to be in the ocean on occasion for long periods of time to recharge my batteries. Once they are full, I bring the ocean energy-vibe with me wherever I go. I'm learning how to ground myself, and I'm learning how to fly. I learn by observing the natural world, listening to my thoughts, following the omens, and watching people around me...learning from their virtues and mistakes.

So far, the highlights of my life include being a touring drummer for a rockabilly band (Hillbilly Hellcats), being a surf bum, being a ski bum, being a rock climbing bum, traveling the island of Hawaii, falling in and out of love with beautiful women, finding buddhism, the Yoga Rocks festival in colorado in 2008, and playing music on the streets of america.

I blog for the Elephant Journal, a yoga/budhhism/eco-conscious magazine from Boulder, Colorado. Mostly, I interview and photograph yoga instructors. It's really fun and inspiring. Check it out: http://www.elephantjournal.com/author/ryan .
