About me:

"What's your road, man?--holyboy road, madman road, rainbow road, guppy road, any road. It's an anywhere road for anybody anyhow."

Who I'd like to meet:

...an Alien someday, but a nice one, not one that wants to cut out my DNA and feed it to me...

  • Dec 8 2008 3:16 AM

Okay I will keep reading, but only because you vouched for them.
  • Dec 8 2008 3:07 AM

Your paper is on Harry Potter? I've read the first two books, but just cannot get into them.
  • Dec 8 2008 3:01 AM

    I concur.

I am procrastinating too ... but I am doing my hair and make-up and taking stupid pictures ;-)
  • Dec 8 2008 2:54 AM

I have two fears ... more lame special effects and less Edward. Oh, and that I should go ahead and buy stock in Kleenex b/c girls all over the world will be stocking up for the premier.

What's scary is that I nodded with every point. Funny story-I went to Blockbuster to rent Goblet of Fire only to discover that I owned. My mom loves Harry Potter and I buy movies for her to watch when she visits. LOL. I would so do Rob Patt too ;-) He is of age, technically.

So, here I am stalking you again. I am so excited for tomorrow-I love watching One Tree Hill at work, it makes me feel like I am really earning that paycheck.
    How is school going?
  • Sep 17 2008 12:25 AM

I was going to leave you a comment ... then I noticed all those other comments and I thought that I'd appear stalkeresque if I posted another comment. So, I decided that I shouldn't comment. Then, I wanted to post on how funny it was that it looks like I am stalking you. But, then I thought it would look even more stalkerish. Then I got super confused by the merry-go-round of the leave-a-comment-don't-leave-a-comment issue. And well ... I just don't remember what I was going to say.
Does that make me a stalker?

  • Aug 6 2008 2:04 AM

Have you made it back? How was the drive? I hope you are prepared for Operation Stalk

Life is good...tiring (REALLY tiring) but good. Josh is getting really big and eating tons. Wow babies are incredible people!
Glad to hear that LA is nice. Too bad you don't have a longer time to stay and possibly seek out your long-time dream of making it in the BIZ!
:) Take care of yourself and make it home okay...
  • Jul 28 2008 3:28 AM

  • Jul 9 2008 3:08 AM

I am so very sorry ... I tried to change it but I don't remember how.
    Can you ever forgive me?

Interests

  • General

Pretty much anything and everything. Oh, except math, I'm really not that interested in math. But everything else is fair game.
  • Music

I like music that doesn't suck. Mostly stuff like: PEARL JAM, Uncle Tupelo (and of course Wilco and Son Volt), Rilo Kiley, The Decemberists, Mew, Bat for Lashes, Band of Horses, Patty Griffin, Mike Doughty, Jeff Buckley, Interpol, Flaming Lips, Elvis Costello, Griffin House etc. MOST "Alt" rock that came out of Seattle in the early and mid-90's, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, and so forth. Most "Alt" rock that came out of everywhere in the mid-90's -- yes, I am stuck there. Most 80's new wave. The Rave-Ups, Blondie, The Clash, The Cure, and so forth. A LOT of classic rock, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, CCR, Carole King, and so forth. I don't feel the need to continue to list bands that I think will make you think I am cool.
  • Movies

Casablanca, His Girl Friday, Sunset Boulevard Anything Cameron Crowe is even remotely involved in. Brat Pack movies. Anything with Will Ferrell, Chris Farley, or Mike Myers. All of those uber-important, film school snob type movies (yep, I'm a "film" school snob) like Requiem, Memento, Run Lola Run, you know, anything Dr. Daly showed in class...and then some... Oh yah, and Empire Records...classic...
  • Television

Eureka, 24, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Arrested Development, The Office (American and BBC -- BBC is my fave though), Heroes, The X-Files, Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (anything Joss Whedon does though), Nip/Tuck, Real Time With Bill Maher, Weeds, The Sopranos, The Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, Ugly Betty, Veronica Mars, Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, House, Alias, Chuck, Reaper...yeah, I watch too much TV...
  • Books

The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test, Redemption Song: The Ballad of Joe Strummer, On The Road, A Clockwork Orange, I am America (And so Can You), Graphic novels (Y: The Last Man, The Authority, anything by Joss Whedon, Invincible, Hellboy...) Catcher in the Rye, and The Chronicles of Narnia (all 7), anything by Dean Koontz or Michael Connelly, The Secret History of the Pink Carnation, Anything by Jennifer Weiner, the Dan Brown foursome -- of which Digital Fortress if my fave, Hunter S. Thompson, Michael Moore, Burroughs (William S.), Kesey, Tom Wolfe, Meg Cabot, John Sandford, Thoreau, Jane Austen...I have stacks and stacks of books I have started and need to finish...I need more TIME!!!!!!!
  • Heroes

Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, Dorothy Parker, My Mom, Anyone who is strong enough to stand up for what they believe in.
