Oh the gladness of a woman when she's glad! And oh the sadness of a woman when she's sad! But the gladness of her gladness and the sadness of her sdaness, are nothing to her badness when she's bad!

I love reading and am always interested in history. I am fascinated by the supernatural, hauntings and ghost stories.
Music
It would be easier to tell you what I'm not keen on; heavy metal and all that head banging stuff that makes me feel as if my brain is about to implode! Sorry to those of you who like that kind of thing :-)Most other stuff is okay.
Movies
I love all sorts of films, some of my favorites; Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Breakfast Club, The Colour Purple.
I have to admit to being a keen horror fan and I love a good weepie sometimes.
Television
It's on but not often being watched.
Books
I could read for England! I love all sorts of books, some of the writers that have made an impression would be Alice Seabold, Dean Koontz, J. K. Rowling, Clive Barker, Douglas Adams to name but a few.
Heroes
Those people in the world who have the courage to stand up against injustices of any kind.

You are a Beautiful Woman!!! Below is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her "beauty tips?" It was read at her funeral years later.
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness... For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone... People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.
If you share this with another woman, something good will happen. You will boost another woman's self esteem, and she will know that you care about her.
Hello Happy Cat,How are you my dear friend haven't talked to you in awhile & was wondering how you were??? Please drop in on me & say hello~your friend~Heather (Beautifully Broken)

I have in my hands two boxes, Which God gave me to hold.
He said, 'Put all your sorrows in the black box, And all your joys in the gold.
'
I heeded His words, and in the two boxes, Both my joys and sorrows I stored, But though the gold became heavier each day, The black was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black, I wanted to find out why, And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole, Which my sorrows had fallen out by.
I showed the hole to God, and mused, 'I wonder where my sorrows could be!' He smiled a gentle smile and said, 'My child, they're all here with me..'
I asked God, why He gave me the boxes, Why the gold and the black with the hole? 'My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings, The black is for you to let go.
'
We should consider all of our friends a blessing.
Let them know you are thinking of them and that they are a joy in your life.
