About me:

In september 2005, after many years of playing with some of Toledos greatest blues musicians. Curtis Jr.(inspired by his hero and local blues legend father Curtis Grant) along with his younger brother(Earl Grant) decided to form his own band Curtis Jr. and the midnight Rockers. The goal of this band is to keep blues alive. Since the inception of the band we have had engagements in some of the premier clubs in Toledo and surrounding areas to include: The Legendary Hines Farms Blues Club, The Music Suite, The Bharmacy, and Ray & Jetts in Genoa, Ohio The Durty Bird and Toledo Easy Street both located in downtown Toledo and The RoadHouse in Swanton, Oh, the Casa Baron and the newest club Fat Fish Blue in Perrysburg, OH and Stella Blue in Archbold, Oh. just to name a few. The band members are Curtis jr. on drums and vocals ,Earl Grant on keyboards,Bobby G.on vocals,Al Hartfield on guitar and vocals ,and Jim Dedegorio on bass... We are looking forward to playing in some of the many premier night clubs in the area, and we hope to include your favorite club to that list. Our moto is to keep the Blues alive in 2010....... In 2006...The MidnightRockers band Placed 1st runner up in the nationally recognized Blackswamp Blues Society "Blues Competition"
