The Hattiesburg Beer Club began meeting monthly in September of 2007.
If you are a lover of great beer, a homebrewer, interested in craft beer, or just wondering what craft beer is and how people can honestly compare it to fine wine, this is the group for you.
We sample beers selected by each member once a month, each having their own tastes and/or favorites from all over the world. Each member brings at least a 4 pack of beer that isn't common to our area. We try to stick to a specific style each meeting, but whatever you find that isn't available in our area is welcome. Any craft beers, bring them.
Join us the 2nd Sunday of each Month at the Keg and Barrel from 5pm-7pm.
Any beer that you want to share, bring it to any meeting.

AS ALWAYS IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANY OF THESE STYLES FEEL FREE TO COME ANYWAY AND SAMPLE SOME GREAT TASTING BREWS.

On December 5, 1933, the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. The 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment, making alcohol once again legal. The Keg and Barrel tapped their own beer on December 5, 2008 in recognition of the the end of Prohibition in the U.S. and making them the first brew pub in Hattiesburg.
