After eleven years, I can see where a single person in my position will not be able to do the things I have wanted to do. This house is incredible with many options. There is an incredible amount of room for one person to ramble around in. I have removed years of wallpaper and paint applied by previous owners, and preped many of the walls. Paint has been stripped from the woodwork allowing the beauty of the wood to show. I have removed the paint from most of the original brass hardware for doors and walls. Almost all of the glass, in the many windows throughout the house, is the original "old" glass. There are many, many quaint and wonderful things about this home.Books
The past owners have passed down the original abstract for the property dating back to the 1840's.

About me:
Click on "my pics" to the left under the main picture to see over 75 pictures of this home. Built in 1895, four families have lived here. I face north on the corner of Frederick Avenue and Noyes. Many plants, shrubs and trees have been planted. Peonies and hollyhocks, as well as Burning bushes and bulbs are in the flowerbeds on the Frederick side. There are fruit trees: Peach, Granny Smith Apple and a Pear tree. The apple and peach trees will have a lot of fruit this fall. The pear should have some. The first floor consists of a large (about 10' X 10')entry hall. A set of French doors takes you out to a concrete patio. A set of working pocket doors takes you into a very large (28' X 15') living room. The living room is on the northwest side of the house. There is a wonderful bay window with leaded glass windows above it. There is also a gas fireplace. French doors take you to the formal dining room (about 16' X 16')in the southwest part of the house. You can also get to the formal dining room from the main butlers pantry off of the kitchen. There is also another pantry off of the kitchen. NOTE: The wall between the kitchen and the smaller butler pantry could easily be removed to make the kitchen larger (14' X 14')and do all of the updates to the kitchen. An island could very easily be added. The larger butler pantry has floor to ceiling cabinets with wood frame glass doors on the top and wood doors on the bottom, with counter space in between. There is also a cute powder room under the stairs. NOTE: There was a brick "morning warmer" fireplace in the entry hall, but previous owner covered it. I was going to put it back, but wasn't able to. This could very easily be done if wanted. An open stairway takes you to the second floor. The landing at the top of the stairs is about 8' X 8'. There are three bedrooms off of this landing, a full bathroom and the stairway to the third floor. The northeast bedroom (about 12' X 12') has been used as an office as well as a bedroom. Two big windows and access for a wood stove. The northwest bedroom (about 14' X 14')has a beautiful bay window in it. The west bedroom (about 12' X 16') has a quaint sunroom (about 10' X 7')off of it. Down the hallway (the hallway is at least 4' wide) is the fourth bedroom on the second floor. This bedroom has two closets and several large windows, as well as a full bath. The hallway also has two floor to ceiling closets with an incredible amount of space. At the top of the stairs going to the third floor is a sitting area or foyer with access to the attic and both bedrooms, as well as a closet and 3/4 bathroom. The north bedroom on the third floor is about 14' X 14'. The bedroom on the south end of the third floor is about 16' X 16' with a walk in closet and built in shelves. The attic has a lot of storage space from the front of the house to the back of the house. The basement has a large room (about 14' X 20') with a brick, woodburning fireplace, a laundry room (about 14' X 14') with everything needed for a 3/4 bathroom. There is also a large workroom and two storage rooms.Who I'd like to meet:
Someone interested in bringing me back to life. I have had a huge new wrap-around porch added in 2001. A lot of the old paint and wall paper have been removed for someone to add their own touches of color and style.Details
