The atmosphere and the food don't seem quite to fit with one another, as it feels more like a bar than a restaurant, while the food feels more like heaven. It is pretty small and usually crowded, but if all that is fine with you (I like cozy), then you will be treated to incredible food. The menu changes regularly, but I had a portabello mushroom dish that was out of this world. My partner had a hunter's stew with rabbit, venison, and assorted other animals that he could not stop raving about. This is the best restaurant food in Asheville." - Kristin H.
