IM GIRL CRAZY! i really like girls, cars, fast cars, dances that are fast paced, sing along songs, food, i really enjoy eating the food, dancing while im eating food, i like hanging out with people, going to college parties, boy/girl parties, sun sets, good music, fantastic dances, freaks of nature, protozoan, smear me with poop, people that make me laugh, the zombies, fricking FAT sandwiches, potato chips, intricately choreographed dances, bacon, junk food in general really, rolly pollies, kittens and cats, an epic at best, super soakers, alf, ned from the three amigos, tediously crafted flooring, vinyl siding, charcoal briquettes, bob, fix-a-flat...seriously, that stuff is amazing, i believe in martians, skateboarding, cable television, and sushi.
Music
mungo jerry is the only musician worth his salt. (and james brown) but i'd be lying if i didn't admit that that dad gum townes van zandt ain't half bad either. and leonard cohen is a keeper along with roy orbison and ry cooder. other than that though, no one knows what's up. besides maybe like wu tang and de la soul as well as gangstarr and late nineties rap in general really. phosphorescent is very talented. jason molina and jeff tweedy / mangum are good too i guess. the zombies were a superb pop group but who could ever forget the wonderful talents of roger miller and even nancy sinatra. lee hazlewood kind of blows my mind a lot. television, gang of four, pop levi, bonobo, blockhead, tom waits, and the pogues do some things right. i like a lot of other athens groups besides phosphorescent too by the way... one of the best is some animal. mr. blind willie mctell and his friend mississippi john hurt did things before they were popular to do those things. (mostly involving drinking whiskey and playing music...) maxime le forestier is talented. lovin' spoonfull is great. i mean, i just like the sound of good music i guess. currently though, mungo jerry... nothing else. besides maybe like uncle tupelo or emmylou harris. okay, whatever, so johnny cash and willie nelson are solid too. devendra banhardt? rosebuds? bonnie prince billy? tony allen? yeah, them too. eddie novia is really good at playing the charango. datarock is so FUN y'all!!! i don't know any other band names.
Movies
cool hand luke, the good the bad and the ugly, crouching tiger hidden dragon, adaptation, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, baraka, three amigos, pretty much any documentary but especially style wars, breakin' II electric boogaloo, the freshest kids, the lion king, bomb the system, match point, everything you ever wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask, diana's movie about trish is my favorite, batman begins, this is spinal tap and all of the rest of 'em, can't hardly wait, march of the penguins, lost in translation, toombstone, big fish, forbidden planet, space balls, robin hood men in tights, fivel (all of them), easy rider, lonely are the brave, jaws, crocodile dundee, ninja turtles (all but the third), the g.i. joe animated movie (i don't remember the name of it, but it was incredible), akira, and motorcycle diaries but that is IT. i don't like any other movie besides those which i have listed here. yellow submarine is weird but i like it too. as well as the turtles movie they made. anything with quirky dogs with human traits pulling a sled through snow is good too.
Television
little johnny jewel.
Books
are neat-o.
Heroes
jim, sam, and kathryn mcgaw. Anyone else who baffles me with their wit when they change my profile settings.
