Kenneth Barclay

About me: My interest in music, began when i first sat down at the piano, when i was three years old. i began piano lessons, when i was five, and at the age of 12, i was offered a place at Chethams school of music, in Manchester. when i was 20, i passed my ARCM performers diploma, and was offered a place at the Royel College of music. My time there was cut short, after my health began to suffer, due to massive panic attacks, and fits. For the following ten years, my health remained in this unstable state. The doctors kept on increasing, and changing my medication, but the attacks, just got harder to deal with. Eventually, i was diagnosed as having epilepsy, I was left with temporary brain damage, because my epilepsy, had been undiagnosed for all this time. but gradually, my health improved. i toltally recovered, about two years ago. That's when i decided to change my name, to Kenneth Barclay. This has made it easlier, to leave my past behind me. i just feel so lucky, to have survived my past, and to have been given a second chance to live. I have allways been registered blind, but fortunatly,, my sight has began to improve, and now i would class myself as being partially sighted. I would like to use my expiriences, to try to help other's, going through a simmilar expirience. i have arranged and produced, five cover albums, and some instrumental albums.
