.. ......Massive ..Myspace Layouts.. collection from ..Pyzam.com.............. ..............Contact Tables.... The band is no longer active.....We were a great Country-southern rock band back in the 90's. We had alot of fun doing what we all liked doing...Making Good music and having alot of fun and making friends! We did go in the studio and made a few demos, which was really fun! The song Sleepwalkin was written by my husband back in 1978. He wrote the song for me and I put the music to the song. I always thought it was a GREAT song and wanted to share it with some of you that have ask to hear it and never gotten the change. The song Why is a song I wrote back in the early 90's. I love tear jerking, beer drinking songs and I was sitting around one day and the words just started coming. The tune was right with it, so it was an easy song to write. So when the band decided to go into the studio and do a few songs we wanted some original material, and we already knew Sleepwalking was going to be one. They asked me if I had any matreial that I wrote. I played it for them and they loved it and said we have to do it. I must confess it sounded a whole lot better when all the instruments were added. Ha-Ha. We done some other original songs by some other musician friends of ours that were very good as well, but I do not own the copy-rights to any of them, so I could not share them We were always booked at a club or venue somewhere, with only 2 months off total in 3 years. It was alot of work along with the fun! We had a great group that really got along good as we were great friends as well as band members. Actually I was the one that broke up the band as I got a little burned out and missed alot of time with my family due to always rehearsing or playing gigs. Other members of the bands went their separate ways and stayed in music and performing. They are all playing with someone to this day except for the drummer, Nick Wickware, whom passed away with cancer a couple of years ago....He was a GREAt musician and a very Good friend! He is truly missed by me and all the musicians that he ever palyed with. Other members of the band were, Kenny Edmonds- Lead guitar, vocals; Tim Brown- bass; Adam Stevenson- keyboard, vocals; Joe Hamilton-lead guitar, vocals; and of course, me, Joyce Justice-lead vocals, rhythm guitar. I miss performing sometimes and think maybe of starting back, but I am content to just sing karaoke from time to time. I have been singing since I was very little. Started in church with my Mother, played around the house with Mom and Dad and family. All the usual stuff, and always dreamed of singing on the Grand Ole Opry. Well, never came true, but something close which to be was also a dream come true!!!! Anybody that knows anything about Nashville and Music Row will know what I am talking about. Went to Nashville on vacation back in the 90's and went to Toosie's Orchid Lounge. Always dreamed of going there. Went in and it was open pic night, so I got up to sing. Alot of the other people that got up to sing were sing and the man running the show played guitar behind them. When it was my turn, I asked to play his guitar, so I was the only one that played my own backup music. I sang 2 songs and was getting to ready to leave the stage when I was asked to sing another song, then another, then another. I was up there for over an hour just singing my heart out! I pulled out every Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Kitty Wells, Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard, George Jones song I could think of! Ha-Ha. Had a BLAST! Looking at all the pictures of all the Country stars that had sit in there and sing to folks, I was in awh and beside myself. I finally got to stop singing so I went and set down with my husband. The guy that ran the entertainment came back and talked to us for along time and praised my singing and stage preformance. He then offered me a job to sing and play at Toosie's Orchid Lounge 7 nights a week.....A DREAM COME TRUE, but, I had to turn it down, as much as I always wanted something like this to happen. You see, jobs were not very plentiful back then and my husband was getting ready to start a terrific job the following week at a steel mill in our home town the following week. I just could not take this golden opportunity offered to me and give up the job my husband had waiting at home. There were and are starving musicians throughout Nashville and is not a sure think, just a dream. I will always wonder what if, but doesn't everybody? Oh, well...... Anyway, I have alot of great memories, pictures, and some songs on CD to reflect on....It was a GREAT ride, and I done the things I wanted to do with the LTC Band......I miss them and I appreciate them all so much!
