With a career that spans over ten years in the adult industry, this blue-eyed beauty has been around the block and back. Born on May 21, 1979 in Munich, Germany, Banks spent a brief stint in London before settling with her mother and sister in Simi Valley, California at the age of seven. At sixteen, she moved out of her mother's house, taking her 14-year-old sister with her. At eighteen, she was granted full custody of her sister and worked various jobs during the day and attended night school where she received her diploma with straight A’s. Blessed with a 5’9 frame and the longest legs in the business (36’ inseam) Briana always kept modeling aspirations and even graced the cover of Teen magazine.
At the age of 21, in August 1999, needing to pay the rent, she responded to an ad in the newspaper for a nude model, thinking it would be a one-time job. The photographer then put her in her first pornographic film which was University Coeds 18, opposite Brandon Iron. Never having even watched an adult movie prior to working in the business, Briana entered the industry under the pseudonym "Mirage", before changing to "Briana Banks" in 2000 after enhancing her breasts to DDs. Her first appearance as 'Briana' was in the film Decadent Whores 9. In June 2001, she appeared in Penthouse magazine as Pet of the Month won the Hot D'Or Cannes for Best American New Starlet and later that year, signed an exclusive contract with Vivid Entertainment.
As one of the longest standing Vivid girls, Briana made history with Jenna Jameson with the release of Briana Loves Jenna, which went on to become on of the best selling adult movies of all time. With over 300 movies under her belt, Briana has risen to International stardom and remains one of the biggest, most popular adult film stars on the scene.
Off camera, Banks continues to model for Skin Industries and was a contributing author in the 2004 book How To Have a XXX Sex Life: The Ultimate Vivid Guide. In the book she and other Vivid stars give advice and tips about sex, as well as relate anecdotes from their personal sex-lives. After a brief hiatus from the industry in 2006, Banks returned in full force and in 2009 was the youngest performer ever inducted into the AVN Hall Of Fame.
Future plans have Briana working on a tell-all memoir and her own line of toys. In her spare time enjoys working out, boxing, watching movies and spending time with close friends.
