.. .. ..The Lost Sideshow .... Extrapolates the music of THE DOORS .. ... "Is everybody In? The Ceremony is about to begin." .. .. 2007 is the 40th anniversary of the Doors... .. The Lost Sideshow is a group of four of Nashville's best musicians performing the musical art and poetry of The Doors. Though their shows together in this capacity are very seldom, when they do one, it's a special night of music dramatically unlike that of any other band in Nashville (or anywhere for that matter). The spirit and spectacle of Morrison and The Doors is evoked in splendid fashion. Because the four guys who comprise the individual players of The Lost Sideshow are so active as full time working Nashville pros, it is indeed a rare treat to attend one of the group's performances. The band's repertoire is not only made up of well-known Doors songs but also includes a smattering of ultra-rare Doors material not found on the regularly available albums. Morrison's poetry is interjected throughout. The result is a truly transcendant night of entertainment... ..The Lost Sideshow is: .. ..Chris James.. - Lead vocalist. Chris played Jim Morrison in a short-lived LA play "Celebration of The Lizard" (1998) which included recording material with Ray Manzarek. He's also in Carlene Carter's and Walter Egan's (Magnet & Steel) bands among many others. He played with Bobby Bare for over ten years. .. ..Michael Webb.. - Keyboards. Webb is possibly the most in-demand keyboard player in Nashville. He is currently fronting his own group, "Fugitive Glue" and playing regularly with The Wreckers. He recently was in Gary Allen's band. Michael is also a member of "The Fossils". Webb is amazing at handling the Ray Manzarek role of playing the bass lines with his left hand while performing all the keyboard parts with his right hand. Extrapolates the music of THE DOORS

... "Is everybody In? The Ceremony is about to begin."

2007 is the 40th anniversary of the Doors.

The result is a truly transcendant night of entertainment.

The Lost Sideshow is:
Chris James - Lead vocalist. Chris played Jim Morrison in a short-lived LA play "Celebration of The Lizard" (1998) which included recording material with Ray Manzarek. Besides being a recording artist himself, James is currently working as keyboard player and vocalist in America's number one Native American group "One Nation". He's also in Carlene Carter's and Walter Egan's (Magnet & Steel) bands among many others. He played with Bobby Bare for over ten years.
Michael Webb - Keyboards. He has all the vintage instruments from the classic days of Rock.
Rick Lonow - Drums. A Grammy Award winner, Rick has played with countless legendary artists in Music City. He is considered by many to be the number one session drummer in Nashville. Most recently he's worked with Loretta Lynn, Kris Kristofferson, Rosanne Cash, Joh Prine. Lonow is a long-standing member of the Jamie Hartford band. He came to town with the Flying Burrito Brothers and among other things is recognized as Nashville's foremost country-rock drummer. He is a co-writer of Poco's "Call It Love".
Steve Allen - Guitars. Steve came to Nashville in the early nineties from LA after experiencing big-time success as co-leader, songwriter of the group "20/20". Steve is currently touring with Steve Forbert as well as heading up "The Long Players" with Bill Lloyd. The group brings together different musical celebrities to play one classic rock album in its entirity at each of their shows.

All four members are firmly established in the Nashville music community as touring and recording session pros. All four are also recognized as songwriters.
