About me:
I'm enjoying the journey, i signed up for an amazing , sometimes overwhelming adventure and it really is what it says on the tin!ha ha! boo hoo ha ha! I'm a highly creative and inovative person , passionate about people,equality,animals and the enviroment.
I created a platform from which i desired communities to engage with one and other through the arts with artists of all mediums to develop community theatre, which i named 'Emerge'. Emerge! offers it's holistic and artistic experience to artists and ordinary people who find it nourishing on the inside to express themselves through many various art forms. Emerge challenges them to get out of their comfort zone and stereotype, to engage, explore, inovate and provoke change within themselves and others personally and artistically. Once embarked upon the journey we help to embolden them to explore themselves and their creative elements from the inside out, to develop their creativity from that centre point untill it bursts forth through inspiration participation and connection. I'm extremely lucky to work with a multitude of highly skilled and talented people. The team of us includes-Artists-Dancers-actors-musicians-filmakers-graphic designers- a gymnast and drama therapist. We create and produce original performance works involving community in theatre and outdoor spaces.I trained in the performing arts and became a professional performer working in Tv, theatre and film as a tripple skilled performer. I have always felt compelled through dance to choreograph and create, I was first hired to do this when I was 17yrs old. Through Emerge my role has afforded me the opportunity to write ,choreograph, direct and produce five totally unique shows to include multi media. This has taught me a lot, mainly that i have a lot of blind faith and courage. I love the sun and thrive in hot weather, should have been born in the Med'. However i do enjoy the winter season for it's reflective mood, staying in and being cosy.
