  • Bio

.. With faithful disciples from as far a field as the dry lands of Igualada (Catalonia) to the cold wet streets of North West England, in the past two years FoE (Freedom of Expression) have grafted a reputation for delivering outstanding live sets, leaving gig promoters stumped about what to put on the bill listing. Audiences across the country enraptured, the uncategorisable FoE. They've supported important acts from Remi Nicole and Bonobo to Paloma Faith. They played around Europe in various festivals like Anolia ( Spain), The Workhouse (were they are a classic), Brouhaha, Matthew Street, Hub, Sunrise to name but a few. Also they have played in well established venues around uk like: O2 academy in Liverpool, Mr Wolfs in Bristol, Notting Hill arts Club and Cargo in London., Rainbow in Birmingham, and the list goes on and on. foebanduk@gmail.com

  • Influences

Drawing on reggae, hip-hop, rock, jazz and DnB influences, the group offers up soulful laments about lost love, dirty rock ditties about the art of hustling, and dubbed out tales of escapism from their track portfolio. With their sound suiting adjectives such as organic and rootsy, FoE are sensible enough to have some impressive tricks up their sleeve: heady jazz soliloquies, funk-inspired digressions and electronic deviations add to their eclectic credentials.
