About me:
Everyday, an estimated 42,000 children are orphaned worldwide, many whose parents have died from AIDS.
These children struggle to survive on a day to day basis to acquire the basic necessities that we, as
American students, so often take for granted. There are 143 million orphans across the globe—many of
them vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. Without physical care or financial support, these children
are often forced into child labor, trafficked into the sex trade, or recruited as child soldiers.
Orphans and vulnerable children are an important part of the world's future and cannot be left to fend
for themselves. The best way for us to help these young people is to offer them a future by empowering
them with an education. Education can help curb the spread of disease, prevent violence, and equip
vulnerable children with the tools and resources to take control of their lives.
You can help these orphans and vulnerable children by creating a chapter of Voices for Vulnerable Children
at your school. Individuals can have a big impact in their communities by raising awareness and funds to help
their less fortunate peers access the knowledge and skills that we as students enjoy. Please visit our website at voices.worlded.org to learn more about Voices for Vulnerable Children and get your school involved. It is our responsibility to define our generation as one that is ready to take a stand against poverty and injustice.
Please join us in supporting orphans and vulnerable children around the world in order to help them create
a brighter future for themselves.
The African American Planning Commission, (AAPCI) would like to thank you for the add! Your continued support is vital to us. May we work together towards the common goal of improving conditions of people less fortunate in our communities and around the world.
Please visit us again online at www. aapci. org to learn more about our innovative initiatives and join our worldwide community forum and blog lounge at www. aapci. org/forum. We have made you a top friend for March... thanks for your hard work on MySpace, in the community, and around the world!
Hello There Voices for Vulnerable Children :), and welcome to fellow campaigners for the innocent!!
Thank you very much for becoming our friend. Good to have you with us. We always need help and support for the cause to which we have dedicated ourselves. It is an unfortunate but very real fact that predators exist and they pray on the innocent children of the world. They need you. As ever, it is the musicians who come to the aide of the helpless and become a voice for them. So come and have a listen to the great artists and bands who have become our friends. Stay in touch with us, spread the word, let your friends know and their friends in turn about our campaign.
Thanks for your support! Opportunity International agrees with you that fighting global poverty is really important. We believe change is possible.
For more info on how our microfinance programs help the poor, visit Opportunity. org. We’ve also got cool photos up on our MySpace page. Check us out and see how you can make a difference. Give the poor a chance to work their way out of poverty!
Great news from World Education. Their work, which the Voices for Vulnerable Children campaigns goes to fund, has just received an additional S11.5 million to help orphans and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has been plagued by political instability and a rapidly deteriorating economy. The money received by World Education will go towards the Bantwana initiative, which works with local grassroots groups and existing NGO’s to help supplement the work they are already doing on the ground. This money will help about 82,500 orphans and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe. However, these children are just a small percentage of those suffering in Zimbabwe and a tiny percentage of those in need around the world. In Zimbabwe 85% of orphans lost their parents due to AIDS and roughly 168,000 children are currently living with the disease. The Bantwana initiative will focus on nutrition, health education, advocacy, psychosocial support, and other essential services. The money student groups help to raise in the Voices Campaign will allow World Education to extend these programs of help and hope to more children in Zimbabwe and in the world. Please visit our website at www. voices. worlded. org to learn more about how you and your school can make a world of difference in the lives of a suffering orphan or vulnerable child. Thank you for your support.

Thanks for adding me! If you get the chance, would you check out my blog about ending chocolate slavery? So many children are being exploited in the cocoa plantations of West Africa and we have the ability to free them.
That you so much for your sacrifice! Who will speak for the children? They can't speak for themselves. We speak for dogs, dolphins, zoo animals, but we forget our very own children. Thank you for what you do.
