4th Festival will be on 1-4th June 2011. International Festival of REAL-TIME AUDIOVISUAL PERFORMANCE ART. VJ FEST ISTANBUL is an international video-music festival. It’s goal is to create an audiovisual playground where people can converse and have good time. Festival is a demonstration of the art of VJ-ing as a social act. It is an opportunity for the interested people to learn about this communicative art. Video Jokeys from Turkey meet VJs from other countries. They share their knowledge about the subject, and help each other to improve their techniques. In three years 47 VJs from 15 countries, AV artists and DJs, musicians, media researchers made free workshops and performed live. Uluslararası CANLI AUDIOVIDEO PERFORMANS SANAT Festivali, VJ FEST ISTANBUL uluslararası bir video-muzik festivalidir. Video Jokey (VJ), canlı olarak videoları ust uste bindirip karıştıran, muzikle aynı anda uyumlu gorsel alan yaratan kişiye denir. VJ Fest İstanbul, sozu gecen video sanatını İstanbullulara tanıtarak, bu sanatın farklı yonlerini tartışmak amacıyla duzenlenmektedir; amacı, İstanbul'un eğlence hayatının VJ etkinlikleriyle daha renkli bir bicime donuşmesi ve VJ kültürünün gelismesidir.
