2AM formed in the summer of 2004 as a three-man pop-punk band from Macungie, Pa with Chelsea Meyer on lead vocals and guitar, Alex Arruda on guitar, and Zach Arruda on drums and vocals. After learning a few cover songs from bands such as Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and others, we began writing our own original songs. After seeing how friends and fans responded to our music we decided it was time to become more serious and get a bass player. In February, 2006, Jake Bastian joined the band. We began getting more shows. Finally it was time to go into a recording studio to produce our first cd. "Stud Belts, Skate Shoes, and...a Skirt?? Yeah, We're a Band." was released September, 2006. It featured six of our original songs. Since then we've been playing shows, entering battle of the bands, and getting ready to go back into the studio in 2008 to record our first full length album.

yea that would be cool. its just that we just got together not that long ago and right now were pretty much only doing cover stuff. were working on writing tho, and it would be really cool to play with u in the future if we can write some cool stuff and stay seroius about it and dont split
