2 Beans and a grape (2BG) formed in 2002 with John Borgman on bass/vocals, Lyle Geoffrey Brown on drums and Marc Sveen on guitar. John and Geoff are stepbrothers and have played together since grade school.
John Borgman played professionally in San Jose and San Francisco from 1993 to 1996. He studied bass and vocals at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory.
Lyle Geoffrey Brown has played in Monterey. He's studied with Chicago Chuck and plays with several blues bands in San Diego.
Marc Sveen performed in Bands in the East bay, Chico, and for last 5 years in Santa Cruz with various bands Like Torpedo Café, the Frequent Flyers and currently with Big Boogaloo. He studied Music and Recording Arts At Chico State in the mid 90's.
