Two Buck Chuck (consisting of brothers Ryan and Sean Mefferd, both on Acoustic Guitar and Vocals) focuses on tight vocal harmonies while the natural percussion of acoustic guitars provide the back rhythm. Wind ‘em up and let ‘em go! Two Buck Chuck creates their playlist on the fly, mostly through audience requests or by drawing from an extensive catalogue of past and present radio favorites. For over a dozen years, whether they were band mates or watching one another from the wings, Ryan and Sean have always given each other mutual support and admiration. The Mefferds have each honed their crafts alongside and amongst many of the Northwest’s marquee musicians and producers, be they rock, pop, country, or R&B. In the summer of 2003 the brothers realized their common passion and Two Buck Chuck made their debut at Duke’s on Lake Union. Two Buck Chuck offers a high-energy alternative where a full band is too much and a DJ is not enough.
