2c-Nexus

Bio:

2c-nexus is an up and coming psytrance DJ and EDM producer. Born and raised outside of Philly, he has been inspired by electronica all his life. Nexus got his hands on the old school Yamaha DJX-Groovebox when he was just 12. Music and entertainment has always been apart of him. Anything for that musical fix, may it be jamming out on a guitar, writing raps, producing beats, or even singing in an A capella group. After seeing his first DJ at a school dance, he knew that's what he wanted to do.

A few years later, he finally got some audio and lighting equipment. Under the name DJ virtualreality for a few years, he did school dances, house parties, and other events. He later realized that virtualreality was stupid and changed it :) He then dubbed himself 2c-Nexus, Nexus for short, if you don't know, you don't need to. Nexus got bored and tired with the school dances and thought to himself, "I need to learn how to mix and make dance music". So, he did just that. In Herkimer, NY he went to his first session with live mixing. From that night on, it's been uphill in his DJing career. That night he went home with one of the DJs, instantly became best friends, and was taught how to use turntables. Within the first year of his newly found passion, Nexus has played numerous gigs all over New York. He co-hosted an event that brought in Infected Mushroom and SOLD OUT. To say the least, that was the best night of his life.

In between events, he practices new skills, mixing techniques, and educates himself in the wonderful world of EDM production and performance.

Currently producing in FL 8, but is learning Ableton live for live performances. He plans to attend courses for everything electronic. Needless to say, 2c-Nexus will be moving up in ranks in the upcoming years. Look forward to hearing new tracks that are always progressing and pushing his experience even further.
