  • Bio

There was once an Afro with a beautiful voice. Some say she was a descendant of the Afro-nauts. Others say only the comb buried deep within her hair knew her true roots. AFRO floated through the cosmic ether rolling from one melody to the next, each day a new way to harmonise. On this day her song was interrupted by Subsonic Bass frequencies the likes of which she’d never heard before. The subsonic vibrations entwined to form low frequency dreadlocks as BASS DREAD manifested in the ether, playing not with his fingers but with his hair; resolute, dedicated to playing the roots. And then vibrations of a higher frequency! CHROMATIC DREAD scattering six stringed blues dissonance as far as the ear could bleed. Bending notes until they broke. High pitched screams only heard in dreams. And for a time everywhere was chaos. But amidst the depths AFRO remained calm, worked her charms and in her inner ear the way forward became clear. They would create a new song, then another, and another. After much rehearsal melodious harmony was restored and they gigged across the cosmos. 2 Dreads + An Afro = .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... ...... .......... .. .. .. .. ...... .... .. .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. ..
