    2DARC CONSISTS OF 2 EXPERIENCED SONGWRITER PRODUCERS: ALAN LA PORTE & LEON NEWLAND. Alan La Porte Started out as a DJ on the London Circuit, then moved into live music playing drums and occasional keys in a funk band before stepping into the role of producer in the studio working alongside up n coming UK artists, Eventually he landed a publishing deal with BIGLIFE MUSIC through head of A+R Paul Kennedy (now with PEER PUBLISHING),this gave him the opportunity to write and produce on projects for the likes of USHER, MARIO, SUNSHINE ANDERSON, CITY HIGH, BROSIS (German Pop Idol) and many more. Under the guise of 2Darc Alan continued remixing and wiring tracks on both sides of the Atlantic for artist such as LA based TQ (Sony), JAGGED EDGE, LIVIN OUT LOUD, MJ COLE & KARL BROWN, ROBERT GEE & FLOECIST (GRAMMY AWARD WINNER) NATHAN, CRAIG DAVID, ILLUSIVE, BRANDY, OLIVIA, CLARITA., TRICKBABY, 4FLAVA, MICA PARIS, ANTHONEY WRIGHT. 2Darc has received ongoing support from the media including nationall radio stations such as KISS 100, CAPITAL, GALAXY, 1XTRA, BFBS & JAM FM (GERMANY) + THE PIRATES. RUEBEN MCALLA and New Jersey rapper CRISIS who has performed with the likes of LIL KIM & DR DRE, CELETIA MARTIN - SUGARBABES/ATOMIC KITTEN, FAYEB, SOULSTAR (CHANNEL 4/MUSICOOL) AND MICHAEL JAY - CELINE DION,ENIMEM, KYLIE MINOGUE. Leon Newland has been doing music since he was a youth but came to the notice of Brian Higgins of Xenomania (GIRLS ALOUD, SUGERBABES, KYLIE MINOGUE & OTHERS) in 2006. Described by Brian as "one of the most talented black singer/songwriters in the country" Leon gained much from his time & association with Xenomania. Leon went on to become one half of the myspace popular band Lexx and Lionel.
