2InSpire Films runs short, free, film coursesWEDDING SPEECHES AND ENTROPY - our 2 short films - were both created in 24 days over 12 weeks as part of an arts development course funded by The National Lottery, for 16-25 year olds, not in education or employment, running 2 days a week at 2InSpire on The Aylesbury Estate, Southwark. The course taught script-writing, use of camera, lights, and sound, casting, editing, music technology, and graphic design, whilst working toward making a 7 minute short drama. OVER THE SUMMER 2InSpire held an 8 day film workshop as part of ELEFEST. We created 2 short films. 1 visual extravaganza and 1 documentary about the regeneration of The Elephant & Castle and Aylesbury Estate.2007 also saw the opening of PICTURE BOX our youth led cinema for young people on the Aylesbury Estate. The films run every other Friday at 2InSpirePicture Box was AWARDED The Philip Lawrence Award in December 2007 2InSpire is part of InSpire.
