  • Bio

This album is my first collection of pieces studio recorded in Columbus Georgia. I started working on these songs after a break from my working with my first group the Raw Diamenz. I was the lead vocalist and the group with DJ Friction and Damon Calvin (Moore) who was the groups lead. We, the Diamenz, concentrated mainly on Hop Hop/Rap and maintained a fairly stable fan base in the Stuttgart region of Germany in the early ‘90’s. I parted with the group due to my service in the U.S. Army which I’ve continued to this day. I’ve continued to work with other Artists doing production in Germany until I moved to Texas were I continued to write and produce music for local Artists. I had the opportunity to work with the production team of Terry Smith and Nemesi (Earnest Baskins) who is a fellow CDBABY artist. Nemesi and I started several production projects together, one of which evolved into my debut release ‘Bein’ Selfish.’ This collection is a combination of the soul/blues/hip hop that evolved from so many years of working in the background. Its roots come from my Louisiana upbringing with ‘80’s pop and R&B and the part-time nature of my musical development. These songs were composed and produced by me with raps by Nemesi. My style is ‘simple soul’ but is touched by my travels with the Army. My sophomore collection, “Do that there” is also featured on CDBABY and was recorded in Frankfurt Germany. I am currently working on my third collection from sunny southern California. Take a listen to the opening track which is a snippet from two of the tracks in the collection. Tell me what you think? How are you? I hope everything is going well for you. I remember you telling me you had friends in Ramstein, well now you have more than just them. If you ever in the area you have to stop by and see us too.
