Soul has been rapping on a serious level for around 3 years, but He has surrounded himself in the the hip hop culture from the time he was 13.
Inspired by artists such as 2pac, Wu Tang and Nas his focus turned from listening to music, to music making. Due to his poetic background, Soul is widely regarded as being an "Urban Poet". Using life experiences and issues affecting the world around him, he captivates you and makes you want to know more. What really stands out about his music is his eloquent delivery. He lives up to his name by providing uplifting, thought provoking and ambition filled lyrics.
Its been a busy year of promoting and performing for Soul, a year and a half after joining Myspace he has amassed a small but ever growing fan base of loyal followers who await each new track eagerly and regularly show love for him. 2007 has been a great year for Soul releasing various EP's and several noticeable collaborations, some of which have been with over sea's artists. along with various paper reviews, Mix tape features, radio Interviews, and plays.
He has ended the year in a big way after becoming one of the front runners for the ever growing music scene in Mk, although he has only been performing live less than a year, he is an experience you need to see to believe.
He has performed live with many other artist over the last months of 2007 and also performed solo at many events in MK at various venues with different promotions, he has performed on the same bill as Canada's Abdominal and DJ Fase, AC and Terra, Genesis Elijah, Raskil Records, DJ Maniphest, DJ Snowman, and Nemesis Crew just to name a few…
And just before 2007 came to a close, he went on to support one of the UK’s biggest Urban artists, Skinnyman.
Now in 2008, He starts the new year with a bang, by having his new EP Available to purchase in the well renowned online record store, "King Underground"
Also on the cards for Soul in 08, are many live events, The Release of his first album. A collaborated EP that will be produced by Toefinger, Also a few Collaborations with Twisted Productions.
Not to mention the production of a new video is about to start, so watch this space...
