2 MINUTE HATE is a four-piece metal band out of Portland, OR. In July 2003(vocalist) Alison and (guitarist) Charlie drove 3,000 miles to Portland from death-metal home Tampa, Florida to find (drummer) Nate and (bassist) Jeff.The combination of band members' talent and varied influences ranging from Sepultura, Lamb of God, and Slipknot to Nirvana and Led Zeppelin result in a an insane, chaotic metal sound. Every song is a plethora of blast-beats, off-rhythms and mathy changes, and their melodic side will haunt you. Since May, 2004, 2 Minute Hate has played the Portland metal scene and many venues in the Northwest, where they shared the stage with signed acts such as God Forbid and 3 Inches of Blood. 2 Minute Hate completed one self-titled album in 2006, released an EP in 2008 and is currently working on a second full-length album due for release in early 2009.
