    2ST was the solo project for guitarist/songwriter Derek James. Derek had been playing guitar for four years now and began recording in July '07 with "Malice followed by "Anatomy of A Tragedy" in December '07 but had a quiet but solid '08 with "Scared No More". He had been writing and recording for a session in Excelsior, MN on 03.16.09 for a new song, "Becoming Concious". One year later Derek released his 4 song Digital E.P. on itunes, Emusic, Rhapsody, Napster and Amazon for only $3.96. -- On August 7th, Derek posted a blog entry stating that the plug had been pulled on the long-dormant project after 2-years of inactivity. Derek cited, "a lack of inspiration, desire, direction, purpose and generally questioning how much sense it made to continue investing time/money into a project that was going nowhere," and added, " I just have nothing left and need to move on to more realistic endeavors." 4-songs, a handful of plays and a $1.84's worth of earnings are what he has to show for this project.
