2nd is a multi-talented new up and coming recording artist in a class of his own!. Blessed with remarkable talents, a "Hot" body and dashing handsome looks, 2nd wrote, produced and arranged the tunes, "Acapello", “Freaky Mon”, "Home", "Now", “Roots & Culture”, “Long Long Road”,, “Stay Strapped”, "Lick It", “Real”, "Girl It's You" and more... "2nd: Wrote, arranged and produced his entire album, and even played the guitar and bass on his singles as well. 2nd is a self contained artist in the music genres of Reggae, Hip-Hop and r&b Soul. Some have called him a rare and true artist, a diamond in the ruff who is multi-talented in his own right, while others have called him a true "Genius!".

Born in the boogie down Bronx in nyc home of Rap legends Krs-One, D-Nice, DJ Scott La Rock and others, "2nd always considered himself to be a good artist who was just not signed at the time, but sure enough it happened after the new indie record label Astro/Genesis Records decided to sign him, 2nd beat out over 20 acts for the 1st place prize of a recording deal! But sadly due to financial setbacks within the labels management, 2nd's new debut album and singles were never released. Being very disappointed by all the chain of events that transpired after giving so much of his raw talent, time and energy to the label, 2nd decided to move forward, and in 2008 he forged ahead with supreme faith in himself and God, and with a little help from his family, friends and private investors ICP Records first indie LP Project "Freaky Mon" was born!

2nd's music is heaven-sent as is he; a prolific songwriter producer, composer and all around artist -- just listen to the variety on "Freaky Mon!" His latest debut album -- and decide for yourself!. But music listeners have already begun to take notice. Since his first independent release in September of 2008, 2nd began climbing the indie music charts at a rapid pace. His Hot new single "FREAKY MON" climbed the College Charts at a rapid pace and hit 12 over his many admirer's ROGUE TRADERS - Better In The Dark (Columbia/Sony), SKILLET - Comatose Comes Alive (Atlantic/WEA) and THE KILLERS - Day & Age (Island/UMG). 2nd's other Hot single "ACAPELLO" was the 1 Most Requested Single for Two Weeks straight on the Qyk-Top 40 radio station. "ACAPELLO" was labeled as a (Future Hit) by sts sound scan as it blazed up the indie charts hitting 2 Main Charts" in the same week! The AC/Hot AC Main Chart and the Top 40 Main Charts among many others. Call it luck or sheer Genius, but one thing is for certain, music listeners began to embrace "2nd" with open arms.

Most recently 2nd recieved an email from a Dir. of A&R for a major label producer and manager who has worked with with labels like - Def-jam ,Badboy,interscope, and Atlantic worked with artists like: Diddy, EightBall and MJG, Loon, Dream, 702, Joe Tamia Mario W. The producer bigged up 2nd's music! And now wants to meet 2nd and take him to the majors!

We do not believe that luck had anything to do with 2nd's recent achievement on 7/17/09, but rather him being ready and prepared for opportunity when it presented itself. Most recently on 7/17/2009, 2nd along with several other unsigned artists auditioned live for Sony Music/France a&r's in Miami South Beach at the Catalina Kung Fu Sushi Lounge. 2nd although very nervous, gave 110% that night and delivered a soul stirring jaw dropping performance of George Michael's 1998 classic jazz hit, "Kissing A Fool" before following up with 2 original songs from his indie album entitled "Girl Its You" and "Freaky Mon - Freak Freak Remix) 2nd had great energy and presence on stage and excited the crowd, the audience were absolutely amazed at how 2nd went from a classic jazz tune, to an original r&b/Hip-Hop number to close with a rough and rugged reggae tune. His versatility was absolutely amazing! And 2nd had everyone singing his sexy "Freak Freak" number.

After the show 2nd's contact who hosted the show informed him later that night that Sony Music/France reps selected 3 artists a female group called "Alass", a solo singer guitarist named "Michael" and Mr Freaky Mon himself "2nd!" Selected out of the 7 or 8 plus artists that performed that very night. The creative reach and scope of "2nd" just doesn't stop there, just take his recent Political single for the president elect Barack Obama entitled "NOW". The song and music video continues to receive tremendous accolades for its positivity, honesty and historic truth and significance at this defining moment in our American History, as our nation elects the first African American President. The "NOW" music video entitled: "The Historic Nomination" received a 4 Star Rating on You-Tube with over 17,382 hits and a 92% rating on Myspace in its first week of release. The "NOW" Music Video Remix entitled: "On The Road To The Inauguration" received a 3 Star Rating with over 3,485 views, and his Humanitarian Katrina Relief single and music video entitled "HOME" received a "5 STAR RATING!" On YouTube with over 2,061 views, thus proving that 2nd's talent and appeal has the unique ability to reach and extend far beyond the bondaries that some would deem as unimaginable.

2nd indeed has the sheer natural talent and unique ability to venture into different genres of entertainment, like his many mentors: Will Smith, Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Jamie Fox, P. Proverbs 18:22 reads: "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtained favor of the Lord."

I know this all to be true from my parents who both hail from Kingston Jamaica, have been married for over 41 years now! They are both retired now and living in Florida. I can only hope to be as lucky in love as they are.

My parents share a love likened to the one that i sing about in my 2 new singles entitled: "If You Knew This love", and "Girl It's You". If you truly want to know my view on true sincere love and commitment, then you need to listen to these two songs.

Many of my fans ask me: "2nd why do you write and sing so much about love?", or "2nd why do you want to get married?", and I reply: why not? Why not want to settle down and get married? Why not give up the player, club and bar hopping lifestyle to embrace something that is far more beautiful, spiritual and eternal. Why not want to experience the pleasure and joy of having one woman or one man in your life, rather than 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. Why not lower your high and picky standards a tid bit to embrace the logic of compromise, which extends far beyond that someone you could just live with, to that someone you cannot live without.

But I can only speak for myself as the good man that I know I am, and that my mother has raised, as the good man that looks forward to his wedding day and the birth of his children, as the good man who will be a real man like our president elect Barack Obama and work hard to support his wife and family, raise and teach his son to respect women and his daughter to love herself, respect her body and true worth and power as a woman, and to never ever settle for half a man, but a whole one.

My only wish is that my mother and father and oldest Aunt Vera who will turn 89 soon, will live long enough to see me walk down the aisle with my beautiful bride to be, this would bring me great joy and happiness more then you could ever imagine. For them to see their grandchildren would be even more of a joy and a huge bonus.
