2nd Suicide was founded during 2004 by L. Helenius, Vesa Norrbacka and Janos Pap who shared similar musical preferences at the time. Currently L. Helenius is the only founding member left in the band due to several line-up changes during the years.
Stylewise 2nd Suicide can be described as the bastard child of gothenburg-style melodic death-metal á la In Flames, At The Gates etc. and the more traditional finnish counterparts such as Amorphis.
