We love dance - social, ballet, contemporary, modern... this is French pantomimist and ventriloquist, Jerome Murat:
....
We also love music, films, reading, fine art (the expressionists and surrealists, and particularly scuplture and the impressionists) our cockatiel, Shakespeare, and good stand up comedy... we also love the guys at JibJab. "This Land" is from the 2004 election:
....
(More JibJab below...)
We love to hang outside - reading or doing creative writing together (we finished a screenplay for a teenage, coming-of-age comedy this fall - out for edits and then off to an agent). Some evenings and weekends, we head into the studio or living room to work on choreography. For getaways, we hunt waterfalls in the north Georgia mountains, or park by a creek or river. We love road trips - and traveling. We're endlessly fascinated with issues of humanity: social, political, philosophical. Even The Blue Men can wax politi-sophical... sort of:
WELL WORTH WATCHING Wafa Sultan, an Arab-American psychologist (and secular humanist) living in L.A., makes a powerful argument during an heroic appearance on Al Jazeera television in February 2006:
....
We also love aerobatic shows. This is a loop of Kirby Chambliss, arguably the best stunt pilot in the world:
....
And Scott hopes to be long distance road speed skating and cycling again soon...
This is "Welcome to the Jungle" - Lucas Brunelle's classic video of an informal bicycle jam race in heavy New York traffic (vehicle and pedestrian)... this is beyond insane:
......
{Skating rush hour was never like this...}

Scott is a photographer and photoeditor with Keiko Guest Photography in Atlanta - focusing on stage work, dance studios and weddings, but also family and wedding gown portraits, and headshots. For the past two years, Scott has been photographing Kristy in the mountains and on the coastlines and rivers of Florida, South Carolina, Georgia and Costa Rica - we hope you enjoy these. A collection of nearly one hundred of these photos is available as a book of outdoor dance photography...

Dance Quotes and Videos! We've been selectively collecting inspirational and humorous dance quotes for years and decided to share them... we now have 900+ quotes, plus 60 select videos:
Please visit 2nilssons Dance Quotes & Dance Quote of the Day!
Originally: Kristy - Houston; Scott - Philly countryside, then NY suburb. Now we live in Atlanta (Buckhead).
Kristy is a ballet choreographer and teacher; Kristy teaches at several good schools in and around Atlanta and has set two dozen pieces performed by ten companies in six states (and she loves it). Kristy attended HSPVA and OU - and danced with Atlanta Ballet and Charleston Ballet. Her LinkedIn profile is at linkedin.com/in/kristynilsson
Eddie Uehara - a filmmaker in Las Vegas - created two, short inspirational Dance Quotes videos with some our favorite quotes and selected two of Kristy's quotes for inclusion... how cool is that?! Eddie's "Dance Quotes" (his "Dance is Life" is further down...):..
Scott was also a dancer (Indiana University, New York University, Ann Brodie's Columbia City Ballet, Indianapolis Ballet and briefly with Atlanta Ballet and pickup companies in New York before an untimely end to his dance career); he retired from managing a nonprofit senior ministry and now loves working as a photoeditor and photographer for Keiko Guest Photography in Atlanta; he also enjoys contract work and providing pro-bono consulting and writing services to select non-profits and charitable organizations. Scott's LinkedIn profile is at linkedin.com/in/scottnilsson

Last year, we co-authored a coming-of-age comedy screenplay that is being well-received by people in the film industry. We are working on our next script, as well as other projects.
"Butterfly Lovers" This famous Chinese New Year..s gala performance requires strong ballet, pointe skills, acrobatic and hand-balancing skills. She does things that seem impossible. A future face of ballet?
