Given 2 us thru GOD
Yet taken from us N sickness
Your love felt for years past
U shall always remain first
But sometimes U did come last
Y have U gone?
Y must U go?
Y did it have 2 B U to leave us?
Lost in this mist of confusion
The crying has begun and the healing must now take place
We knew that this day would come
But we did not know it would B this soon
The sun within your heart has touched many
And its warmth will continue to B felt for years 2 come
From birth 2 death we all must learn to LOVE
The love you gave will not go with U
It will remain with us and future generations
You taught lessons learned thru life
Even when U was down
U stilled remained strong
Was this 4 us?
Or were U prepared to go into the light
Your strength has been passed on
Because we 2 must remain strong for our own fight
Your soul will always remain even when the body is gone
The fight U fought is long from over
Because the torch has been passed for someone else to carry
The torch will never be dropped
Just passed from generation to generation
So go into the light with a clear caution
Because the journey U started does not end with U
It was just the beginning…
