.... ....Alexis “El Gordo” Grullon...... Alexis Grullon a.k.a. "El Gordo" a.k.a. "2Saï" is a versatile rapper/producer capable of spitting in Spanish, English and French. Easily the craziest one of the group, his lyrics are unpredictable and translate street reality into his texts. He is also one of Montreal’s graffiti pioneers of the early 90s. "El Gordo" brings to the table a concrete example of what perseverance is after losing a leg in a horrific train accident while doing graffiti, thus showing the world and most importantly himself, that the only limits are the ones we impose onto ourselves. He started rapping in Spanish with E-Rude and their group called First Impact... ..In the mid 90s, after the separation of his group and the rehabilitation of his leg, he joined his cousin Sol to form the group "BlackSunz". They shared the stage with world-renowned artists such as Nelly (St-Lunatics), Nelly Furtado and Fonky Family (France). He also performed at "Les Francofolies" in front of 10,000 people in 2003. Today, after producing and supervising the album of one of Quebec’s most important rap artists, “Sans Pression” (Réplique aux Offusqués), El Gordo has been seen with “Sans Pression” on stage at all of his shows making him one of the most recognizable figures in French Canadian rap. Now his objective is to extend his notoriety to the Spanish market and around the world... .. .. ....Alexis “El Gordo” Grullon...... Alexis Grullón alias "El Gordo" alias « 2Saii » est un rappeur et producteur accompli capable de rapper autant en français, en anglais et en espagnol. Véritable caméléon, on peut facilement dire qu’il est le plus fou du groupe. Ses paroles sont impressionnantes et font toujours entrevoir ses préoccupations à l’égard de la réalité de la rue. El Gordo est réellement un des pionniers de l’art du graffiti depuis le début des années 90 à Montréal. Au sein de Criollo, il est un réel exemple de ce qu’est la persévérance car même après avoir perdu une jambe dans un terrible accident de train, il a démontré au monde et, encore plus, à lui-même que les seules limites sont celles que nous nous imposons. Au milieu des années 90, il a commencé à rapper en espagnol avec E-RUDE avec qui il a forme le groupe FIRST IMPACT... ..Suite à la séparation du groupe et le rétablissement de sa jambe, il forma, avec son cousin, Sol Valdez, BLACKSUNZ, groupe trilingue qui a produit « ShiningLight » (2001). Malgré ses nombreux faits saillants au cours de sa carrière, El Gordo a partagé la scène avec des artistes de renommées internationale tels que Nelly (du groupe St-Lunatics), Nelly Furtado (Canada) et Fonky Family (France). Il a aussi fait une prestation devant plus de 10 000 spectateurs aux Francofolies de Montréal en 2003. .. ..El Gordo a participé à la production et à la supervision de l’album du rappeur le plus important du Québec, SANS PRESSION. Depuis cette collaboration, El Gordo est devenu une figure immanquable lors de toutes les prestations de SANS PRESSION et cela fait de lui un des noms les plus connus dans la scène rap francophone au Canada.
