Carolin Seitz tends to get a bit too curious and excited about this little universe of ours. So whenever her mind is just about to overflow, she simply does some tidying up and sorts everything she finds into neat rhymes and verses.
In order to make her neat rhymes and verses sound even neater, she wraps them into catchy melodies and flowing piano backings, hoping that her listeners will somehow be seduced into becoming equally curious and excited about this little universe of ours.
Next step: Kostia Rapoport, who tends to get a bit too curious and excited about messing everything up again, decomposes and recomposes Carolin’s songs, in short: remixes them! Being fascinated and influenced by various musical directions and experiences, he puts Carolin's voice into new perspectives, reshapes the structures of the song and adds new dimensions of meaning.
So in the end every single song can be heard in an acoustic and an electronic version. However, since Carolin and Kostia are continuously questioning the clichés attached to these genres, you simply need to listen to both versions and decide for yourself which one’s which. You may get to hear a grand piano turned into a sterile loop machine, you may get to hear a laptop burping and snorting…
