Bio:

Andy and Chris Shaw started playing acoustic gigs together back in 2004. The brothers played Andys original tunes, and that quickly evolved into the Andy Shaw Band. The bands reggae, rock, and pop sounds have been a mainstay for the 2 for the last 4 years, and perform on a regular basis. Now, with the success of the band, Andy and Chris have gone back to their roots, in a sense, to perform and write new acoustic material. These songs are a mix of all of the styles they enjoy, but mainly folk and acoustic in nature. The project has been very well received playing venues all around Columbus, Ohio. In 2008 the brothers self-released a six song ep which has been well received throughout the community. The first 100 copies included hand drawn art on every single cd by Chris Shaw. Andy and Chris are in the process of releasing their second cd which was recorded at Capital University with Andy and Chris providing all the instrumental tracks making this next cd all full band arranged Shaw Brothers tunes. Andy plays guitar, bass, drums and Chris does drums, violin, and guitar and they both sing. Stay tuned for details on this next release slated for summer 2010.
