..2SHORT AND GRILL the future of Slovenian hip hop

Out Of Service Crew was formed in September, 2007 by 2Short and GRiLL. OSS was formed for one show only, but they are still together and now are on thier way through the ups and downs of music. We hope there will be alot more ups than downs.

2Short (Ljubljana, Slovenia)
2Short was born in 1990 in Ljubljana, the capital city of a small European country Slovenia.
He fell in love with music at a very young age (6 yrs old). He started his path in Hip Hop when he was 9 years old. The crossover in his life was made by Eminem’s album The Slim Shady LP. The album introduced him the new style of music he hardly knew. Thanks to his best friend, he found rap music and became very fascinated. Another crossover in his life was when the movie 8Mile came to the cinemas and the rhyme writing became popular and he started to write his own rhymes. At first his rhymes were lame, but he believed he could be succesfull in the music business. Then over some time, he started to like listening to the beats without any vocals, so he surfed the internet and found some software for beatmaking. But that software was no good, but it was good enough for him to learn the basics. When he almost quit the beatmaking, his uncle gave him Reason 2.5, that is when a very new chapter of his life started. He sat infront of his PC clicking and makin music all day long. He learned how to make beats by himself, ofcourse there were some other persons to help him, but he evolved his own style and grew up in a quite good beatmaker. After a while he formed another crew with GRiLL called OOS. This crew is still active and there is a studio "under construction" and an album on the way. 2Short is now collaborating with artists from Slovenia and other countries as well. His biggest collabo is with Lavish West Records. His biggest influences are Keith Murray, J Dilla, Madlib, Eminem. Of course there is many other artits that influenced him and they are not just the genre of HipHop.

GriLL (Medvode, Slovenia)
The year 1992 , the year when new slovenian hip hop legend was born. Grill is young producer/rapper from Slovenia. He started making music when he was only 12 years old. That was year when hip hop started to be very popular in Slovenia. At the beginning Grill was some kind of internet MC and he battled on many forums. But soon he realized that he have to make some real music not just battle songs. He started to work in his home studio, making beats and writing lirycs. He had his first live performance when he was only 14 in a local club. After few live performances he had his first radio interview on a local radio station where he was able to show what he was doing to everybody in his town. He made more than 50 demos from that time. Thes days Grill is preparing his first solo album which hopefully will be out soon. He is also making new music with his crew (out of service crew). Without a doubt we’ll be hearing much about this young talented MC in the future so stay tuned.
