.. .. .. .. .. .. .. The acoustic-based band was born from the Cleveland music scene, and has been touring the U.S. for the past five years. Skinny, formerly 2 Skinny Dorks, have currently launched a national tour to promote their newest disc "Grass". Along the way, they have performed with national artists, such as Dave Matthews Band, O.A.R., The Roots, Blessid Union of Souls, George Clinton, Rusted Root, and Robert Randolph. Shortly after they met at Kent State University, they won a national battle of the bands and were ranked the ..1 unsigned band by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The dorks have developed a large and faithful following, which they refer to as their family, consisting of people from all walks of life. Their family is their crowd, it is their band, it is their theology. Most importantly these guys love what they do, and it shines through every pore while on stage. They seem to work like they didn't need the money, love like they had never been hurt, and sing and dance like no one was watching... AND THAT'S THE SKINNY ..
