About 2 Smiles in a Box

Get video codes at Bolt. « Planante et électrique, la musique de 2 Smiles in a Box s'avère être autant émotionnelle que puissante. » Trio rock de Clermont Ferrand, 2 Smiles in a Box propose un mélange entre rock rageur et pop rêveuse, le tout relevé par une touche électronique. Electrique et saturée, cosmique et aérienne la musique de 2 Smiles in a Box sait se faire plus intimiste lors de sessions acoustiques. Nourri par des influences rock tels Silverchair, Nirvana, ou encore Foo Fighters et Muse, le trio se retrouve aussi dans les expérimentations de Radiohead ainsi que dans les trips planants de Sigür Ros et autres groupes post rock. C’es cette alchimie que développe le groupe en live, avec parfois la présence de musiciens additionnels. Fin 2003 une 1ére démo 3 titres « Une autre lune » est enregistrée. Suit une vingtaine de concerts bien accueillis par le public. Soutenu par le collectif Welcome Music, le groupe enregistre son 1er album auto produit en juillet 2004. "Jupiter - 6" voit le jour en janvier 2005; le groupe fera beaucoup de concerts jusqu'a l'été 2005. 2 Smiles in a Box affine son style en conjuguant puissance, mélodie et expérimentation sonore.
