.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... 2swai are an young roots music act who have incorporated there influences of blues, roots, funk and rock to develop a style of there own which is truly unique.2swai's two man band approach gains much attention with 19 year old front man David Cawse's talent of being able to play guitar, belt out power full lyrics whilst playing solid drum beats played by his feet, as he does all this his side kick 20 year old Mathew Robb backs him up with creative emotive lead guitar playing. .... After recent successes of gaining airplay on Triple J's Root's n' All program and Syn fm, winning the battle of the bands at one of Melbourne's most loved venues Ruby's Lounge, gaining spots at several recognized festivals and frequently getting featured on Triple j's unearthed charts it is no doubt 2swai in their second year are gaining popularity fast and are set for bigger and better things. .... In thier second year in the live music scene 2swai played several festivals and renowned venues by the likes of the Northcote Social Club, The Evelyn, The Espy, Veludo,303,The Laundry, The Empress, The Brunswick Club, The East Brunswick Club, Don't tell tom's, Grind n' Groove, Gertudes Brown couch and Ruby's lounge amongst many others. Theyv'e also shared the stage with highly regaurded artists such as Pez & 360, The Benson Campaign, Chris Cavill, White boys cant funk, soul safari, Cwq, MJ Taylor, live @ subs, Falloe, Sol Nation, Jungal, Katt Beams, Nina and Ruben, ANcient Tree GArdeners, Sunday Soul, Jessica Page, Super Deluxe, Shaun Kirk and Hasle Jackson amongst many other great artists, they have done shows with some of melbournes highest regaurded dj's such as Jesse I, tom tom(true live), bass binladen(players ball), ras crucial, danny cool, man child and farmer suitical. .. 2swai have experienced several residencies and currently they have one fortnightly at there local hot spot the Bazoo Lounge in Croydon. ....
