...A Sound that mainly consists of percussive rhythm guitar infused with ambient lead guitar harmonies, 2wurds has created a style that pulls loosely at rock, alternative, funk and blues. Influenced greatly by such artists as Martin Sexton, Dave Matthews and Bill Withers, the style has evolved but remains anchored in its roots, taking full advantage of stylistic flexib
ility to swoon an intimate acoustic crowd; or aggressively attack a larger venue with a full electric, in your face sound.
Founded in 2002, 2wurds went on to host an acoustic showcase for four years in downtown Minneapolis’ warehouse district. Acquiring the necessary experience and musicians to move forward in the music community, they now have had the privilege of sharing their music at many local venues such as The Cabooze, Fine Line, Bunkers, Bogarts and The Basilica Block Party 2007. 2wurds has shared the stage with great local artist like Billy Johnson, The New Congress, Dessa Darling, and national acts such as G love and Special Sauce, and the Plain White T's.
2wurds consists of four members: Nathan Santos on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Dennis Kamp on lead guitar, Nate “Clearance” Cole on the bass, and Christopher Zator on drums.

1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

I just wanted to see what time you go onstage on MAY 29? I am going to be 2 hours away performing in a parade with the MN Brass Drum and Bugle corps in Morristown. I have about 5 people who are going to this show with me as well. They love 2 Wurds and Matthew Santos' music!!!
