Bio:Indie alternative Duo, "the Travellers" would love to take you on a musical journey of sixties psychedelia and seventies groove with a modern twist. Their latest E.P "For the Waves", a work inspired by the sea, is a welcome, new addition to Expat Records, an Indie label based in the USA. The duo met during their travels, Gemma (Italian) Robert P,( Swedish), they both grown up in England and moved to France 10 years ago. Robert P. learned to play guitar by listening old Led Zep and The Who records from the age of 10. Gemma started singing from early age and studied piano.Both Gemma & Robert P compose, write, produce and mix all the tracks and play all of the instruments to a backdrop of drum-loops. Although studio technology has been embraced, a very traditional method to writing and performing makes the music organic and human, a far cry from quantized electronica. This approach also translates very well as an acoustic live set, and the music composition stands on its feet with Gemma on vocals, Wurlitzer electric piano and Robert P on acoustic guitar and Drums by the french Julien Goutorbe. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Indie alternative Duo, "the Travellers", vous amène sur un voyage de 60s psychedelia et 70s groove toute en rajoutant une touche de modernité. Leur dernier E.P en vinyle "For the Waves", inspiré par la mer, vient d'être signé sur Expat Records, un label Indie basé aux USA. Le duo s'est rencontré pendant leurs voyages, d'ou le nom "the Travellers". Gemma (Italienne) & Robert P, (Anglo-Suédois), ont grandi autour de Londres et ont déménagé en France il y a 10 ans. Robert P. a commencé à jouer la guitare dès l'âge de 10 ans en écoutant des disques du Led Zeppelin & The Who, et a fait la tournée des pubs avec son ancien groupe. Gemma chantait depuis un jeune âge et a étudié le piano. Toute en utilisant le studio dans sa modernité, l'approche de la composition de Gemma & Robert P est très vintage et organique, ce qui se traduit bien en concert acoustique avec Gemma sur les voix et Wurlitzer Piano, Robert P en guitare acoustique et, Julien Goutorbe (Breton), sur la batterie très groovy.
