In directing...David Fincher, Robert Rodriguez, Brad Bird, Johnny To, Edgar Wright, Neill Blomkamp, Terry Gilliam, Curtis Hanson, Hideo Nakata, Matthew Vaughn, Guillermo Del Toro, Christopher Nolan, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Martin Scorsese, Chan-wook Park, Alfred Hitchcock...and I could be here all day, really. But mostly it's Fincher for the way his movies blow me away visually, and Rodriguez for being the constant inspiration in the way he made his first film, and every film there after.
