Jeremy	Jan 2 2006 7:49 AM This one time, Vicki and I were going to an auction. I didn't really want to go, but she was really excited because they were auctioning off a lot of old farm equipment and antique laser weapons. Anyway, we got there, and I saw this 16th century plasma turret that I was dying to have. I bid $200 on it, and then Count Chocula (or was it Topher Grace? The two bleed together in my mind) bid $300. I bid $400, and he bid $500. I though I was never going to outbid him until loudly, from the back of the room, came the shout, "10, 000 dollars!" Anyway, it was Vicki, and she won, and she gave me the turret. On the way out, I remember asking her, "Where did you get the 10, 000 to bid for that plasma turret?" She explained that she had been given $50, 000 for assassinating the UN ambassador to the moon. I tried telling her it was wrong, but you know how space people are: they don't really understand the concept of guilt or remorse. At any rate, we went back and forth about that for hours. I forget where I was going with this, but Vicki's pretty cool.
