///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// 3-0-3 TANGO JAZZ starts up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1996, launched by Hernán Valencia, piano composser and Gerardo Solniè percusión. 3-0-3 found the exactly balance betwen latin-american jazz roots , elements of the tango, folklore, funk and afrocuban music, among other styles. On 1999, 3-0-3 recorded its debut album " MUSICA CON BUENOS AIRES ", featuring all original compositions and arrangements by Hernán Valencia. The CD was released by the " PAI Records " label (Argentina) and the " Latina " record label (Japan) and also features Horacio Ferrer, Walter Ríos as special guests. On July 2002 the band performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland with the participation. During 2003 toured through Europe playing at several festivals in Italy, Switzerland and Deutschland. On June 2004, 3-0-3 released its second album " BUENOS AIRES NOMADE " (PAI Records, Argentina) with the participation of Diego Neder, bass, Luciano Sciarreta and Pablo Mainetti (bandoneón). On November 2004 "Buenos Aires Nómade" was press-released during a " New Argentinian Music " conference that took place in Paris, France. During July, August and September 2005, 3-0-3 toured extensively in Europe performing at the Jazz Café Stauffacher (Bern, Switzerland). Festival Tarascón Latino (Tarascón Sur Ariege, France), Festival Amerique Latine 2005 (Capvern, France) and three concerts at the Theatre La Vieille Grille (Paris, France). The band also played in Germany, where they got great press reviews and Luxembourg. On 2006 they got back to play in Paris. Also at the "Carniola Festival" in Slovenia, and Germany and Luxembourg. In 2007 we played in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Deutschland playing in trio with Karin Urschel, acordeon. Hernán Valencia ( piano & composition ) Gerardo Solnié ( drums & cajons ). On January 2009 recorded a live DVD playing live in Buenos Aires. Since 1996, 3-0-3 plays live in Theatres, Cultural Centers, Jazz Clubs in Buenos Aires . Hernán Valencia ( piano & composition ) Gerardo Solnié ( drums & cajons ) /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// DEUTSCH // " 3-0-3 " wurde 1996 von den Musikern HERNAN VALENCIA (Klavier und Komposition) und GERARDO SOLNIE (Schlagzeug) gegründet. Im Zusammenspiel mit erfahrenen Musikern, mit denen sie die Sehnsucht nach einer gemeinsamen musikalischen Ausdrucksweise teilten, und in der Begegnung mit ihrem eigenen lateinamerikanischen Jazzstil vereinten sie charakteristische Musikelemente von Tango, Folklore, Funk, Reggae, Afrokubanischer Musik etc. Im Jahr 1999 brachten “ 3-0-3 “ ihr erstes Album, „MUSICA CON BUENOS AIRES“, bei Pai Records heraus. Dieses Werk, komponiert und arrangiert von HERNAN VALENCIA, mit besonderer Unterstützung des Tangokomponisten von „María de Buenos Aires“ und Mitarbeiter Piazzollas, Horacio Ferrer, beinhaltet eine Variation von „Montreux“. Diese musikalische Übersetzung wurde von keinem Geringeren gelobt als von dem großen brasilianischen Meister selbst, Hermeto Pascoal, der die Komposition „Montreux“ dem berühmten Jazzfestival gewidmet hatte. Im Juli 2002 trat die Gruppe selbst beim Jazzfestival in Montreux/Schweiz auf. Ein Jahr später folgte bereits die zweite Reise nach Europa, wo sich die Gruppe bei verschiedenen Festivals in Italien, Deutschland und der Schweiz zeigte. Im Juni 2004 gaben „ 3-0-3 “ ihr zweites Album mit dem Titel „BUENOS AIRES NOMADE“ in Zusammenarbeit mit den Bandoneonisten Luciano Sciarreta und Pablo Mainetti bei Pai Records heraus. (Ist es eigentlich wichtig, Pai Records mitzunennen?) Dieses Album wurde im November desselben Jahres im Rahmen einer Konferenz zur neuen argentinischen Musik in Paris der französischen Presse vorgestellt. Seit 2005 ist die deutsche Akkordeonistin KARIN URSCHEL fester Bestandteil von „ 3-0-3 “ und wirkt bei Auftritten in Europa mit. In den Monaten Juli bis September 2005 verwirklichten „ 3-0-3 “ eine Europatour mit Auftritten im Jazzcafé Stauffacher in Bern/Schweiz, beim Festival Latino in Tarascon/Südfrankreich sowie beim Festival d..Amerique Latine. Des weiteren spielte die Gruppe Konzerte in Luxemburg, in Paris im Theater „La Vieille Grille“ und in Deutschland. Im darauffolgenden Jahr präsentierten sie sich erneut in Paris. Weitere Auftritte erfolgten auf dem Festival Carniola in Slowenien, in Deutschland und in Luxemburg. Im November 2007 gaben „ 3-0-3 “ eine Reihe von Konzerten in der Schweiz, in Luxemburg und Deutschland, welche auf exzellente Resonanz in der Öffentlichkeit und in der Presse stießen. Derzeit wirkt die Gruppe in Buenos Aires und bereitet ihr drittes Album sowie die Tour für das Jahr 2008 vor.//////////////////////////////////////////////////// /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HISTORIA EN ESPAÑOL : 3-0-3 surge en Buenos Aires Argentina en 1996 originado por Hernán Valencia y Gerardo Solnie. 3-0-3 creo el exacto balance entre los elementos musicales del Jazz latinoamericano y elementos musicales característicos del Tango , Folclore, Funk , Reggae, Musica Afrocubana,etc. En 1999, 3-0-3 presentó su primer álbum, "Música con Buenos Aires." En él se incluyen composiciones y arreglos de Hernán Valencia, con la participación especial de Horacio Ferrer, Walter Ríos. El álbum fue editado en Argentina PAI RECORDS y en Japón por LATINA. En julio del 2002 el grupo se presentó en el Festival de Jazz de Montreux, Suiza donde realiza cuatro conciertos. En 2003 realiza su segundo viaje a Europa presentándose en diversos festivales en Italia, Suiza y Alemania. En Junio del 2004 3-0-3 edita su segundo álbum " Buenos Aires nómade " PAI RECORDS (Argentina). En él participan Luciano Sciarreta y Pablo Mainetti en bandoneón. La dirección de arte de tapa estuvo a cargo Augusto Costhanzo. En Noviembre del 2004 “Buenos Aires nómade“ fue presentado a la prensa francesa en París en una conferencia sobre la nueva música argentina. Durante los meses de Julio, Agosto y Septiembre del 2005, 3-0-3 realizó una extensa gira por Europa presentándose en Suiza, en la cuidad de Berna en el Jazz Café Stauffacher, al sur de Francia en el Festival Tarascón Latino en la localidad de Tarascón Sur Ariege, en el Festival Amerique Latine 2005 en la ciudad de Capvern en los Pirineos y luego tres presentaciones en Paris en el Theatre La Vieille Grille. También en Alemania donde obtuvo gran repercusión en la prensa local y en Luxemburgo. En 2006 se presenta de nuevo en Paris , en el “Carniola festival” de Eslovenia y también en Alemania y Luxemburgo. En Noviembre del 2007 realizan una serie de conciertos en Suiza, Luxemburgo y Alemania con excelente repercusión en el publico y en la prensa. En 2009 graban un DVD en vivo en Buenos Aires Desde sus comienzos, en 1996, 3-0-3 TANGO FUSION actúa regularmente en el circuito musical de Buenos Aires. 3-0-3 está integrado por : Hernán Valencia en piano y composición, Gerardo Solnié en percusión y batería, Daniel Ruggiero en bandoneón y Diego Neder en bajo. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
