    ZAMBROCAL, formation bretonne, représente un métissage entre le Maloya (musique traditionnelle de la Réunion), le Jazz avec des couleurs africaines et funk. .... Quand le batteur de ZAMBROCAL, Jimmy Poleya, vivait encore à la Réunion, sa grand-mère préparait le ""zambrocal" pour le déjeuner dominical. Lorsqu'ils sont arrivés à Bordeaux, Jimmy et ses cousins ont repris le nom de ce plat pour leur groupe "afro-funk". .... Après tout, la musique c'est comme la cuisine: plus les accomodements et les mélanges sont subtils, plus ils procurent du plaisir aux mélomanes et autres gastronomes musicaux. La formation ZAMBROCAL telle qu'elle existe actuellement dégage une force véritable de son métissage musical. .... La recette est efficace, les scènes bretonnes ainsi que des festivals dans la France entière peuvent témoigner de l'ambiance enflammée de ZAMBROCAL. La sonorité du kayembe, une percussion en roseau dont on joue dans l'île et le son maloya a subjugué les publics. .... Une note métissée, un ingrédient rajouté, bienvenus dans la cuisine musicale de la Famille Zambrocal... Coming from Bretagne, Zambrocal represents the mixture of Maloya (traditional music of Reunion Island), jazz with african and funk colors. .... When the drummer of ZAMBROCAL, Jimmy Poleya, still lived in Reunion Island, his grandmother prepared "zambrocal» for the Sunday lunch. When they arrived to Bordeaux, Jimmy and his cousins took back the name of this dish for their group "afro-funk". .... After all, the music it is like cooking: the more the seasoning and mixtures are subtle, the more pleasure the music lovers and the other musical gastronomes get. The ZAMBROCAL formation such as it exists nowadays kicks up a real strength of its musical crossing. .... The recipe is effective, the Breton stages as well as festivals in whole France can testify the ardent atmosphere of the ZAMBROCAL. The tone of the kayembe, percussion in reed with which the group plays in the island and the sound maloya have delighted the public. ....
