About me:
What can I say my name is Claire and im from Wales but i cant speak fluent welsh and im ashamed of that so one day i will learn. I am currently at university studying art and design my main area being fine art. I play bass guitar, acoustic guitar and electric, i can also play little bit on violar drums and i can play the double bass. My main instrument is bass and i abolutly think it is a fantastic instrument! it drives the music. I like no modern music that i have heard i am rather vintage and love bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin but my fav band of all time is T-rex, Marc Bolan is my hero oh wait and so is suzi quatro. I also love people such as Kate Rusby, James Taylor and crosby stills and nash. I have a paticular soft spot for sandy Denny and also the song writting of Bob Dylan. My fav types of music are folk, Glam Rock, Classic Rock, Phycedelic rock, funk, blues, traditional rock n roll. Music is what keeps me goinh and i love playing. I write my own songs and at the moment have written two what i call albums. I play with a band Called Gravit8 and in Feb I am starting to teach music as a youth worker in a local youth centre along side my other job which is at costcutter- not exactly exciting but its money i need even though i could live without money because i hate it. I think different to most people and i sort of live in my own world. I love animals, the night sky, stars the moon and writting poetry and creating art.
Another one of my heros is the character of Rocky Balboa watching Rocky films gives me drive to be strong and try my best at what i do and it also makes me determined.
I love acting and singing and im just plain stupid most of the time. Im mad and I have been known to play the odd too many jokes!.....I love my friends......Especialy Scouse, Jody and Nicola and the man in the moon who have taken the time to know me for who i am and stand by me and i will do the same for them.
So thats the basics really.

Hello, it's that time of the month again when we add more lovely music to our site. This month's happy foursome are The Barker Band in wistful mode, the summer of love-ish Old Californio, the anything but summer love-ish Christopher Rees and, wait for it..."Travelling Salesman's Young Wife Home Alone On Christmas In Montpelier, VT" from Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, which evenr if it was rubbish (and it's not) just had to be included for the names alone.
