About me:
..THIS IS THE OFFICIAL WRESTLING PAGE OF JOE HENNIG!! .. 1st OF ALL, LET ME JUST SAY SORRY IF I CANT REPLY TO SOME OF YOUR COMMENTS OR MESSAGES. IVE BEEN REALLY BUSY, BUT I WILL TRY TO WRITE BACK WHEN I CAN. THANKS!!.. Joe is the grandson of Larry “The Ax” Hennig and the son of “Mr. Prefect” Curt Hennig. He has followed professional wrestling since he could remember. Even though Joe watched every match of his father’s “Perfect” career, Curt always encouraged Joe to pursue an education and didn’t want him to get involved in the business. But as Joe grew older, Curt’s feelings had changed. About a year prior to Curt’s death, he and his father had conversations about Joe having a career in pro wrestling. After Curt’s death in 2003, Olympic Wrestler Brad Rheingans, a good friend of Curt’s, approached Joe about following his father’s foot-steps. Brad Rheingans ran a wrestling school in the heart of Minnesota and has a well deserved respect throughout the industry. Joe trained with Brad for about a year and began to feel what it takes to get in the ring. After Brad’s camp shut down, Joe had to look elsewhere to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional wrestler. Joe’s grandfather, Larry, told him there was only one place to go. It was Eldon, Missouri. In June of 2007 Joe packed his bags and headed to Eldon and joined the Harley Race Wrestling Academy. Harley and BJ Race welcomed Joe into the WLW family with open arms. Joe made his pro wrestling debut on July 13th, 2007 in Waterloo, IA. He teamed up with fellow 3rd generation wrestler Ted DiBiase Jr. Joe knows he has some big shoes to fill but he is excited about the opportunity and is looking forward to entertaining his fans. Joe’s athleticism, hard work and determination paints the future of the next 3rd generation wrestler. Joe graduated with an Associates of Science Degree in Business Computer Systems and Management from North Hennepin Community College. He also participated in Football, Baseball and Wrestling throughout his high school career.
