Carpathian Forest is a Norwegian black metal band formed by Nattefrost and Nordavind in 1990. Since the release of the band's now-legendary Bloodlust & Perversion demo in 1992 and the Journey through the Cold Moors of Svarttjern promo of 1993, Carpathian Forest has gained a cult status in the Norwegian black metal scene.
