About me:
I'm currently a master's student in nonprofit management. I'm here to spread the word about a great service called WORDOFBLOG.net, and hopefully meet some interesting people along the way. WordofBlog.net enables people on MySpace to support charities, causes they believe in, or up-and-coming artists, by posting on their profiles clickable banners like the ones I have on my profile -- it's completely free, takes a few seconds, and it's an easy way to do some good! There are already tons of banners on WordofBlog.net (http://www.wordofblog.net), so take a look. If you don't find any banner for the cause you want to support, let me know, and I'll work on getting them for you.

Who I'd like to meet:
People with passions and ideals, who believe in things and are willing to show some support for them. To support a cause, a service or a project, go to http://www.wordofblog.net, choose a banner or two and post it/them in your profile -- you just need to copy the HTML snippet in the blue box appearing under each banner on Word of Blog.net, go to "Edit My Profile" on MySpace, and paste the HTML snippet in whichever section you wish the banner to appear. Also, if you are involved in a nonprofit or grassroot effort, a band or an artistic project, don't hesitate to post a banner for it on WordofBlog.net, so that your friends, fans or well-wishers can show support for you by posting your banner in their profiles or blogs - you just need an image (about 160 pixels wide); then go to the "Submit Ad" section at WordofBlog.net and follow the instructions, it takes just a few seconds as well. It's a great (and free) way of spreading the word about your project by word of mouth (or blog).
