30 Helens is a spunky, energetic 7-piece original rock band formed by former Chicago Idol Winner Dave Wagner.
Wanting to energize a stagnant Chicago music scene, founder Dave Wagner came up with the 30 Helens concept. No more 1995 grunge scene, good-bye DMB worshippers, and "been there done that" to top 10 radio cookie cutter bands, 30 Helens dares to be different. After suckering the other members into joining him, Dave's idea was to reinvent a forgotten form of original music in Chicago: Fun and upbeat. 30 Helens wants you to have fun!

The best part about 30 Helens is that they are comprised of actual talent…a novel concept nowadays! 30 Helens blends Dave's award winning vocal talent with some of Chicago's best musicians. Each of the seven artists is from varying musical backgrounds allowing 30 Helens to seamlessly write and play across several musical genres.
Collectively 30 Helens has played venues such as The House of Blues, Cleveland's Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, Double Door, Ravinia, Lincoln Center in NYC, St Lucia International Jazz Festival, Walt Disney World, Broadway, Yankee stadium, and Houston Summit just to name a few.

I saw that article in the paper that explained what happened to the 31st, 32nd, and 33rd Helen and frankly, I now understand why you guys don't talk about it (and why Dave doesn't like to sing in E-flat minor). It will take years before I can get that mental picture out of my head.
